Nadine has been writing original material and found herself drawn to singing and songwriting for twenty years. Her influences are British pop, jangle pop, Syd Barrett, Robyn Hitchcock and also the rich harmonies of bands such as the Roches.
She prefers to perform non-structured songs with shifting tempos and layered harmonies. Nadine has performed solo and with her band, Swagg, who does 70 power pop covers and originals, El Kabong, a duo of guitar and banjo performing a range of songs from sea shanties to Ween covers, and Side Ponytail Headache, a female duo of guitar and keyboard.
Currently Nadine?s focus is on creating offbeat pop with incisive wit and dark lyrics against a sunny instrumentation.
