Suzanna's music is definitely folk, but she brings a funky vibe to it, somwhat jazz, somewhat hip-hop, with introspective lyrics, which as of late have dived mainly into the realm of cynical reflection on the current state of the world, yet always retaining a hopeful sense of the beauty that can be found in such desolate times.
