Hi - I'm Suzan Baker and I'm a singer/songwriter. I perform in Europe and the USA and just finished my first album in 2007. Currently I'm working on my second album.

"Everything in life tends to happen in its own time and in its own capricious way," says Suzan Baker - she is fully at ease, really means it and is talking about the process of recording and producing her first album "The Loudest Thoughts Ever ".

And this is no worn out cliche' - it actually describes the different legs of Suzan's very own musical journey. Suzan began singing as a toddler and this could have been nothing more than a little girl's fantasy and could have ended then and there but Suzan decided to live her dream of singing her own songs on stage. Suzan taught herself to play the guitar when she was 12 and when she was 15 - and a very frustrated teenager - she discovered that she could vent some steam by writing her own lyrics.. And all of a sudden the music industry took notice - "Indian Recall" was released as a single in 1996. "I wrote this song after seeing the movie "Dances With Wolves". Since 1998 Suzan has been rocking the audiences in southern Germany as the lead singer of the well-known cover band Macloud.

Suzan decided she wanted to do more of her own original material, so she began looking for a producer to help her bring her songs to life.
Felix Weber had worked with many renowned artists like Chaka Khan, Randy Crawford, Tony Braxton and jazz legend Nancy Wilson. Billboard magazine even called Felix and his co-writing partner „the most successful German songwriters" (June 1992). In 2000 Felix moved to the USA started Felix Weber Productions, and built his Studio in Ohio. Suzan contacted Felix and they decided to work together.

In the following 10 months we were pretty busy listening to material, recording vocals, re-evaluating and making decisions until we decided on the 10 tracks to be included on the album. "It was hard work but we also had a lot of fun and picked up on each other's ideas. Felix immediately sensed the musical direction I wanted to take and the songs still sound like Suzan Baker, so I am really happy with the outcome." And yes, everything in life does tend to happen in its own time and in its own capricious way.
