STONEFREE first came into being a band in 1972. Since that time there have been several musician changes and several pauses in playing by the group. I used to write short stories for the magazine SOLO under the name of Jason Everheart. Stonefree band has all gone separate ways since this recording and now....I record under the name of "JASON STONE". Jason from my writing days, and Stone from my last band.
I now have a 3-song single CD out entitled, "STONED AGAIN" with the lead song being, Pack Up Your Pipe. You may order it through my website. First, upon entering the studio I laid down the melody, guitar rythyms, vocals and harmonies, and drum work..... himself. The engineer, Zack Mabie volunteered to do the Bass tracks and Mike Wilson, was asked to present the Lead Guitar, Banjo and Harmonica work. On two of the songs, Remember Me and All For You, Eddie Oliver presented his Lead Guitar lics to the songs.
