A product of the vision of founder and frontwoman Lisa Rush, Stella Regrets began in 1998 as a songwriting-driven outfit. Guitarist Sam Scholten joined the band in 1999, forming a songwriting partnership that is the core of the band. In 2000, Stella Regrets began playing high-energy rock shows and acoustic sets in the mid-Atlantic region. Releases include the EP Six Songs of Consequences (2004) and Orbit (2006).
