I write in a contemporary style, similar to Tom Paxton or Ralf McTell. My songs are written from the heart and the lyrics are meant to be listened to. I write about many different subjects, sometimes touching on politics, human situations and life but never too seriously and I try not to preach. All my albums are professionally recorded, produced and engineered using the finest musicians available. I have a number of high profile covers of my songs from artists the like of George Hamilton IV, Vin Garbutt and Martyn Wyndham-Read. All my albums have been top sellers both in England and across the world.

Stan,
Thanks for reviewing "Roll To Me". I appreciate the honesty, and I'm glad to see there are musicians out there giving honest opinions during the review. I'm currently looking at ways to improve the song overall, and having a melody change somewhere inside the song is a good idea. Again, I appreciate you giving it an honest review as it's much easier to just give someone 2 thumbs up and move on! Thanks, Brook Mcwhorter

My new Studio album "Fragile" has just been released. Once again I've been blessed with some of the best musicians you could ask for. 14 new songs produced by Angus Lyon of Scotland Premier Fiddle Band Blazing Fiddles. I would like to think this is my best to date, check it out and let me know what you think?
