Stadium is an indie-rock, alternative-based band that formed in the summer of 2005 in Houston, Texas. Bringing powerful rhythms, harmonious melodies, and emotionally-driven lyrics to the local rock scene, Stadium succeeds in creating a dynamically refined sound that is expressly unique.

After having been in multiple local groups, the members of Stadium bring with them many years of musical experience. Three of the four Stadium members achieved success while in the former indie-rock band, Little Compass. For over two years, Little Compass opened for well-known bands, such as Minus the Bear, The Transit War, and The Jealous Sound, and played numerous tours and countless shows all over the country. In June 2004 Little Compass signed with Negative Progression and released a nationally distributed full length album entitled “Discover.” Though Little Compass came to an end, Stadium now strives to achieve a success that will eventually out-shadow previous accomplishments.

In July of 2006, Stadium began working with producer Mike Thompson from Ivory Tower Realizations and began recording songs that will, within the next six months, be included on a full length album. By March of 2007, Stadium plans to go on a cd release tour that will encompass the greater mid-western US.

Stadium draws musical influences from such artists as Archers of Loaf, Jimmy Eat World, Hey Mercedes, Flaming Lips, and Foo Fighters.
