Stacey James, is a female from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She had a love for music at a very young age. Growing up listening to Motown legends and some of the most amazing creators of soul " The Funk Brothers". She developed a passion and her own flavour for soul. Stacey James began writing at a very young age of 7.After being gifted a trumpet and the self teaching process already in motion on the keyboard.Stacey than moved to accoustic guitar, again she found it brought her music to another level.Which has now grown to tenor sax, bass guitar,violin and more to come.Stacey began singing within the local hip hop scene and performing at various places at age 14. She has been noted for time and time again, for her catchy hooks thanks to her "ear" are written within minutes, nicknaming her "The Hookmaster" by many artists internationally.Looking to explore musically, Stacey joined band "GroovePort".
