A new wave music band producing catchy hi-energy synthpop.

* Based in Houston with a knack for creating vocal melodies. Drew began writing songs and recording in 2002 through experimentation of various genres. He learned just enough to get a good feel for what goes into creating an entire mix and began his quest for a music creating partner who would pair perfectly with his voice. He ended the search when he came across Tony Merlino, a synth-pop pro with melody driven sounds. The two would become one and ‘Spurious!’ was born.

* Based in California, Tony has been composing electronic music since 1995 and in early 2003 created the instrumental electropop platform Blue Orion. Using soft-synthesis only, Tony continues to strive to create original material that’s exciting to listen to and looks forward to the transition into a new wave pop based group.
