Formed by two brothers HOTDOG (bass / lead vocals) and STERLO (guitar / backing vocals) in 2005 and joined during that year by MOOSE (drums / backing vocals); SPLITPIN is an energetic back to-basics rock band who pride themselves on their punctuallity.

Initial gigs on the Melbourne original band circuit saw a following of over 400,000 DEDICATED FANS frantically develop and start following the band around with their tents, caravans, utes and livestock. Splitpin's high energy and mirthful performances have become a talking point amongst this needy 400,000 and the band has almost become a religion.
