Zenen represents the freedom to experiment and express without boundaries. Fueled by a constant desire to mesh genres and cultures, the progressive sound of Zenen is an evolving organism that inhales ideas and exhales songs. With an amalgam of electronic soundscapes, deep lyrics, versatile vocals and an infusion of rock, this collective surfaced onto the streets of New York City in nineteen ninety nine and has since been shaping the sound of the new Gotham. Their haunting melodies and emotions steer music to a higher level enticing the listener to explore themselves and their surroundings.

On stage Zenen takes on a new body as they reconstruct songs with laptops, live instrumentations and organic elements earning them a reputation as one of NYC’s best live bands. "We love to take the audience for a ride throwing new sounds and samples in the arrangements, remixing live with the band and when possible adding our original video projection elements...all this while giving the audience a powerful high octane performance."
