Song Description

First song of the album that provides the background and mood for rest of the cd.

Story Behind the Song

Ambient Particles was a three year project that brought my dream to reality. Influenced by Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, The Beatles, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Blackfield, and Bass Communion. I wrote about things that were affecting my everyday life. Our immediate family has endured an enormous amount of challenges the past four years. Issues pertaining to health, business, death, money, love and family dynamics have caused so much stress in our lives, that they continue to test our faith in each other, to this day. In dealing with all of these troubles on a daily basis, I needed a place to go to keep my sanity. Ambient Particles evolved into my escape from reality. Music was the perfect therapy for getting away from everything. The album turned into my place of relaxation. Ambient Particles is like taking a trip through time. Let your mind wander, and your Troubles will float away.
