Story Behind The Song
When I was 6 years old, the Mormon church told me my parents were going to go to hell because they smoked and drank, and that I would never see them again. It scared me out of my mind. This song just says that I believe we will be together in the afterlife and how much I love them.

Lyrics
Somewhere In The Rain To my mom and dad
Verse 1
Somewhere walking in the rain
I was thinking of the feelings I have for you
In a way, it seems that what's between us
Is unusual
I think you know what I'm feeling
It's something we all have to deal with
I pray to God, when I lose you that I can take it.
Verse 2
In a time of searching I felt
How I need you to know how much I really love you
Anyway, you know
That after this life we'll be together
But I'm still afraid deep inside me
I don't know how I'm going to take it
The love I feel goes beyond this reality
Oh God, the love I feel for you
