Lyrics

Jazz Alternative Kitchen and Earth

The moon is bulgin'...veiled explosion...
Brimming with OJ...half is all we see..
The sun is itchin'...in the kitchen...
I gotta get home to...the ones who mean more to me...

The earth is reelin'
Known what yer feelin'
Say what yer dealin' to make it stop!

The good is better,
Down to the letter...
Don't be a debtor in grandpa's shop!

The grass is growin'...wind ablowin'...
The trees are wavin' good...bye to you and me
The sea is churnin'...fish are learnin'...
I gotta believe that...so are me and thee...

The earth is reelin'...
Know what yer feelin'...
Say what yer dealin' to make it stop!

The good is better...
Down to the letter...
Don't be a debtor in grandpa's shop!

The marmalade is sweet and faceless...
The sourdough is musty, green and dry
Say what ya want to...latches onto...
The past or present...futures in the sky...

Perhaps the most striking thing about this piece is its lyrical character. Fresh, evocative imagery amply suited to this genre is evident.
The overarching musical character has a bare bones, demo quality, which nevertheless points to a pleasing and interesting place. An effort to take this song to the next level is easily warranted.
Keep up the good work!

I liked the cool jazzy vibe of the song. There were some creative lines in the song.

Great melody. Very catchy. Well done jazz piece.

enjoyed the era smooth this voice has been singing for a while!

Interesting jazz based tune. Very laid back with friendly lyrics and an easy listening vibe. The vocal fits this style well.

I enjoyed the arrangement for the song and how it flowed, it reminds me of music I'd hear being played live at a county fair which has a nice, positive, and open feel to the record. I enjoyed the character of the vocal a lot, the pitch moved a bit at times but it was a unique sound that I feel gelled really nicely with the arrangement.

This is a cool little jazzy-swingy number with a lyric/message that serpentines across ideas and feelings. The lounge-like production gives it a nice laid back casual vibe. With nice poly-synth chords based from/around Emin7 keeping it kinda retro. The ride cymbal and gentle tom work gives it that swingy laid back vibe. Nice job.

This song definitely gets high marks for creativity in the lyric department. The writer has some interesting rhymes...my favorites: Whatcha want to /latches onto. better/letter/debtor. itchin'/kitchen. Smooth vocals, sweet harmonies, cool understated instrumentation.
