Thinking back, the process of Songwriting has always been sort of magical to me.
First on piano, then on guitar, it always took me to a place of solitude, especially after recording the 2nd or 3rd track when the essence of the theme comes together.
At 17, I was asked to write a song for a local band that needed original music, and did. At 20, I won 1st place in the FSU talent show, then, had a regional hit with my band "Tarbaby" with "Gotta Find Me A Woman". I've played with the same members now for 30 years in "The Cove Hotel Band", reaching 47 stations in 10 countries, and it just keeps getting better. My home studio is complete now and I'm working on my 4th CD. Broadjam has been a true inspiration to me, and I love mixing it up with other writers and performers who share our mutual love for writing, singing, recording, and of course, performing. A few days ago I placed number 1 on the Chicago Blues genre, which was, a pleasant surprise!
