Story Behind The Song

My friend was contemplating divorcing her husband. I wrote this song for her. She was stumbling down the same path I did. This was a gesture to let her know that I knew what she was going through and that you have to make a decision to create change. The bridge takes me back to my relationship, and the last chorus is to help me heal as well.
