Bio

Slaughter of Souls was formed at the end summer of 2000, by Julian, Pete & Mick with the sole intention of creating "Face Shredding METAL". With all members having been influenced by the old school styles of Metal along with the current scene, this has helped lend to the bands brutal, extremely balls to walls, individual sounding & yet melodic songs.

The bands first demo was recorded on a small budget, in March 2001 in the bands own studio. This first recording was a four track affair called"Nexus Avernus". This was the start of the band discovering their musical direction………

Unfortunately the band parted with their drummer a little after the recording of "Nexus Avernus". But a new drummer was found in the guise of Stu Brogan, who had played in a previous project with Pete & Mick.

With Stu learning the material at a fast rate, and adding a much heavier drum sound to mix, it enabled them to start gigging within a couple of months, including a storming show with Obsidian. Along with the new material being written to a high standard, plans were made for a new recording…

"Cold Slab Cleansing", is the title of the bands latest work. Recorded in winter 2001 at Bob Ross studios, this four track demo shows off the bands high song writing skills, coupled with an extremely professional sound!
