"Three extremely talented young Asian American men," says the New York Times. The Slant Performance Group premiered with their critically acclaimed show- "Big D*cks Asian Men" in 1995 at La Mama E.T.C., New York City's landmark world and experimental theater. Performances are a dynamic tapestry of social satire, puppetry, guitars, drums and percussion, voice, and bamboo flutes. The group has created eight original high-energy theatrical productions with live original music written by the three members, Richard Ebihara, Wayland Quintero, and Perry Yung. Each member of Slant has 17 years or more of music, theater, dance, choreographic, and performance experience and training. Along with film maker Mike Kang they are completing their Slant road documentary.
