The songs are inspired by themes of nature, the divine moment, and love and loss. Bio
elogic, founder of siclic, began his career at 15, playing guitar in the underground indie band erotic pygmies. He traveled to the bay area playing guitar and bass in jam rock bands Burn and Prophet, and in funk RnB band the Paula Jones Project. After several years of lending his talents to joint ventures, he found the need to express his own budding songwriting skills, and fronted his own band, hullabaloo. Hullabaloo played Bay Area venues such as the Boomerang, Hotel Utah, and rollicking college functions. During this time in the bay, elogic not only spent his his nights on stage, but gained studio experience as well, engineering at studio D in Sauasalito and working with eclectic acts, from Jerry Cantrell to Vivendo de Pao.
elogic returned in 2000 to his musical motherland, bringing hullabaloo to Los Angeles. With the addition of local talent Jesse Wright on drums and Mike Devine on bass, Hullabaloo performed at the Roxy, the Joint, the Mint, 14 below, Club Lush, among other venues, and focused on the underground art gallery and event scene. elogic independently produced two EPs for hullabaloo.
In January 2003, he produced the first EP under the title elogic, and shortly thereafter created the band Siclic, bringing back Jesse Wright on drums and showcasing the talented newcomer, Cody Lee Williams.
