SKRATCH MAGAZINE - NOV ISSUE #45---There must be something in the water up the northern way of California because there is some damn tight punk music coming out with a vengeance! Sick Shift is one of those bands that pack enough energy in a cut to power a small northern California city. Brash, fast and harsh are the guitars, thick and dirty are the bass lines, tight and crispy are the drums, with vocals to match, snap, crackle, pop, don't blink because you might miss it. Check out the deception of "Not In Your Bed", the love lost of "Pretend", and the sad story of "Backseat Girl". This is aggressive punk rock, charged and ready to rip it up, enjoy!---Jaymes Mayhem
