Not only is Shayne a lead singer and guitarist, this amazing guy is also the talent behind the mind-blowing lyrics of (his former band) Malone's music. His wide vocal range, together with his ability for power, emotion and melody is something that, once heard, cannot be denied. However, Shayne has a vision and it’s to hit the overseas market. He certainly has the talent and potential to do it and nothing will stand in his way. If the opportunity arose, a move to the U.S would most definitely be an option.
Shayne has had extensive performing experience including opening for well known New Zealand band, Supergroove. Playing live, Shayne is explosive, melodic and crowd driven. There is always something for everyone - songs that will crush you to songs that will mush you. He rocks it out and will make a believer out of anyone that isn’t already! This is a talent not to be missed!
When the Rockstar Supernova auditions were held in Auckland last year approx 70 people tried out, of those
70, there were 6 callbacks for a second audition - Shayne was one of them. The producers were very
impressed with his voice and vocal ability. I'm sure you will be impressed also!

This song was very good. The vocals and the guitar went absolutely perfectly together. The main melody was also great. The energy that the guitarists brought through really made me want to mosh. The harmonies that the guitars made reminded me of one of my favorite bands breaking benjamin. They not only blew my mind but my computer speakers as well. The singer has a great range and reminds me of Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge, another very good band. All in all i would definitely look into these guys if you like bands like Breaking Benjamin and Alter Bridge. I know I will.

okay guys now were talking music review. i love this singer, i think the music is well written. i think that your recording engineer worked real hard on this, great bridge break too. now i would refer you to get a A&R man that can help you take your music to the next level. i feel you could be great in this genre of music. i have to say excellently done. great job guys.

Shayne’s former band “Malone” made a big noise locally and got a lot of recognition for it. Talking of his band Malone “You would never know that rock group Malone was a three-piece unless you saw them for yourself, with the kind of sounds they can produce - especially on stage. Instantly the tight rhythm section of Natt (drums) and Jon (bass) and the impressive guitar playing by Shayne, also the singer/songwriter, had me at their feet.” This was written by local Hamilton journalist, Aidan Smith, who attended the CD Release party for Malone's single, Sinner vs Saint. The release party was greatly supported by national radio station, The Rock FM, with their DJ, Paul Martin, hosting the evening. The night was a huge success with fantastic reviews and a lot of local support.
