Music for the soul...written from the heart. Sharon O'Brien is a singer/songwriter producer/composer from Co Durham North England. She writes and produces her own material on guitar and piano. She has played live around the London acoustic scene accompanied by a percussionist and cellist but is now taking a back seat from the city to record her songs and produce her album.
Her influences come mainly from original female singer songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Sarah Mclachlan. Her sound is very mellow and soothing yet has a quirky edge. She melts the heart of her listeners with soulful lyrics that can easily be related to in everyone's journey through life. She takes you on a ride full of warmth and sincerity and if you want to enjoy the view during your trip you can take a look at Sharon's paintings as she is also a visual artist as well as an artist in sound - www.sharonobrien.info

Hello Sharon,

"Morning Star" is very fine. Great light on people's yearning to squeeze out the old and pour in the new. Nice work...
