Currently, Shannon is majoring in Music Business at Berklee College of Music while frequently performing the Canadian and American National Anthems at Fenway Park. Shannon is headed to Tennessee in March 2012 to compete internationally and is due to release her second full-length album along with the competition.

Born in Portland Maine, on September 3, 1989 as a rural farm girl, I began my solo career by the age of two, performing on coffee tables and other makeshift stages; by the time I was three, I had my very first microphone. My voice lessons began by age nine, and after only a few competitions and solo performances, I told my Mom, just give me an audience and a microphone. I knew then that I wanted to use my voice to make a difference in people’s lives.

My commitment to the perfection of vocal performance has been proven by 7 years of professional vocal training. Performances have taken me to the stage many times as a solo artist, in a variety of choral groups, as a musical stage actress and in a variety of competitions.

My debut cd , “Through My Eyes”, is very special because of the way it was created. I had the unique opportunity to work with Ken Medema, a multi-talented composer, songwriter and performer. Ken listened to me, he
connected with ideas I shared about my life and the world, then he magically created songs that speak from my heart, and has allowed me to share my dreams with you. On the cd I am proud to present “Drift Away”, my first published original composition, which I wrote while struggling to cope with the tragic loss of a four year old friend.
