Shake Some Action is a Seattle-based power pop band fronted by Australian singer/songwriter James Hall.
Previously he fronted the Jeunes, who achieved a degree of success in the Pacific Northwest in 2004/2005. Their jangly, melodic recordings belied their ferocious live performances at noteworthy Seattle venues like the Crocodile, Graceland and Chop Suey, which, along with some KEXP airplay, garnered them a loyal fanbase.

Shake Some Action! bio
Shake Some Action! is a dynamic power-pop band from Seattle.
The band was started in early 2006 by Australian songwriter/guitarist James Hall, after the breakup of his former band, the Jeunes, about whom ThreeImaginaryGirls.com said:
"The music is hook-laden, lush and timeless. After a few listens, you will be utterly smitten with this band."
The self-titled debut album was released on January 16 2007, to glowing reviews and heavy airplay. The Daily Breeze's Sam Gnurre perhaps summed up the feeling best: "The year has just begun, and already the first knockout by an unknown band from out of left field has arrived."
