At the core the Semolina Pilchards are Ken Mahru and Glen Michael Phillips. We are members of many musical projects such as: The Berkeley Social Scene (the genius of which is Sam Douglass), Tiny Robots (A sublime listening experience due to Erin), Zinkline (Made awesome by Martin Turon), Parker Street Cinema, Cavedwellers (folk you up by Lee the Truth), Dust Pipe (an exercise in Tommunism), Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff, Very Gentle Knives (Lief Welsh and the Adequates), and the Worldly Self Assurance (the Pete Glover International Ensemble).

We like indie pop, progressive rock, alt rock, folk rock, classic rock, and jazz.

Most submissions here on Broadjam were released on Song Fight under "Berkeley Social Scene" which is a nod to a favorite band "Broken Social Scene", Semolina Pilchards is our Broadjam identity, but most of the music comes from the BSS.
