dereksea is an award-winning DJ and producer hailing from Myrtle Beach, SC and is now based in Atlanta. dereksea has been involved with music since he was a kid, starting out playing the drums and even experimenting with DJing after learning how to play the keyboard. Eventually, he produced and co-wrote a song that would go on to sell over 600,000 copies after being picked up by Universal.
In 2001, he won an ASCAP award as a songwriter, and thus, dereksea was born.
Today, he mainly produces house music, progressive, trance, dubstep, drum & bass and trap, almost
anything that people can rave to.
