Los Angeles, CA - 2009 - SANTAFE has announced the new single from their upcoming album "Bye Bye Tomorrow." The song, "bamboo soul" is an evocative introduction to the world of ORGANIC music Santafe style. The song basks in the glow of the emotionally dense music. But though the emotions are thick, the music is spacious and inviting and full of what is real and urgent to the heart's moment of now. Thoughtful, warm and mood-driven, "Bamboo Soul," as with all of Antonio's songwriting, is a stripping away of the barriers around the human soul, a bold yet gentle revelation of the inner reflections of the heart. Honest and melodically rich, "Bye bye tomorrow" is a turning inward of the mind's contemplation. Santafe's music subtly brings to bear a number of influences. Drifting electric reggae psychedelia elongates across the soundscape, as does the organic flesh of acoustica. Soulful music shares mindspace with some of the atmosphere of shoegazer. And AlaRosa expands from there. Only none of these things define this music. Rather, they inform it, sublimely, not pushing their distinctive presences on AlaRosa's sound, but rather making themselves available for shaping into a unique personality. The men behind Santafe, are Antonio La Rosa, born in Venezuela, and Diego Fernandez, born in Argentina they grew up "musically and spiritually" citizens of the world.
