Saidat ( si-det) is a triple threat performer with a passion to affect change. With music youth love but lyrics they really need to hear Saidat's charisma, smile and personality reach beyond mere words and penetrate the heart to see life's full potential.
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she watched her mother care for her community. On a regular basis her home was a place to feed hungry children, create fun plays for the city and create a safe environment for youth to be themselves. It was through her mother's example that Saidat felt the need to make a difference.

After high school, Saidat worked as a volunteer at schools, youth groups and community organizations to help young people. Saidat moved to Canada in 1995 and is a permanent resident living in London, Ontario.
