Rock Lee is a singer, composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and producer who has been writing songs since the age of 13. Coming from a musical family, Rock had the privilege of growing up in a rich musical environment. Presented with his first set of drums at the age of 4, Rock progressed to acoustic guitar, then bass and electric from the ages of ages 6-15 and began working in street festivals with a band at age 13.Rock's older brothers, a jazz saxophonist and a guitar virtuoso, introduced him to more subtle aspects of musical dissection and appreciation. As an ear-trained, full-time working musician, he taught himself to read musical notation, and as a result, is capable of charting out musical arrangements (ie: string and horn section) for his musical compositions. Through the years, Rock has been inspired to write a wide variety of musical styles and can compose songs in any and all genres upon request. His compositions have been used in music videos and feature film.

Coming from a musical family, Rock had the privilege of growing up in a rich musical environment. He was exposed to musicians playing various instruments and styles, even while he was in the womb. Presented with his first set of drums at the age of 4, Rock progressed to acoustic guitar, then bass and electric from the ages of ages 6-15 and began working in street festivals with a band at age 13. Having been born in the 60's, he has retained a personal respect and integrity for melodious content. His first favorites were the Beatles, The Move, the Bee Gees and ELO. Rock's older brothers, a jazz saxophonist and a guitar virtuoso, introduced him to more subtle aspects of musical dissection and appreciation. As an ear-trained, full-time working musician, he taught himself to read musical notation, and as a result, is capable of charting out musical arrangements (ie: string and horn section) for his musical compositions. Through the years, Rock has been inspired to write a wide variety of musical styles and can compose songs in any and all genres upon request. He hopes to bring back the musical innocence, integrity and an element of "feel-goodness" that seems to be lacking in this modern pop culture, and has always sought to write the kind of song that he himself would enjoy hearing. He has dozens of songs in his repertoire, performed by himself, as well as by other artists. Rock is available for studio session work in Montreal and Vancouver and is seeking music licensing/publishing opportunities and label roster consideration. Member of SOCAN & SODRAC.
