At the age of 17, Rock snuck out of Harlem and moved to Jacksonville Florida where he became a figure in the burgeoning Southern Rock scene, playing with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cowboy and Molly Hatchet (who used his arrangement of "It's All Over Now" on their first album). He returned to New York where his skills landed him demo deals with Nemperor Records and Arista Records. When both deals fell through he concentrated on raising his family all the while concocting new sounds in his home studio and developing new technical talents. During the 90's he became known as a live player both in Washington Square Park and in Westchester. He is currently preparing a solo CD for release and helping to push Big Bang Theory to the forefront of the TriState area club scene.
