Having started collecting recorded jazz in 1955, I am at the stage of weeding out anything that doesn't swing or otherwise move me any longer. Having many thousands of treasures to choose from, I'm so highly critical when listening to anything new, that I will move on unless immediately "grabbed" by beauty, excitement or otherwise great vibes.
