I have been a musician for most of my life. My first public performance was at age ten. Since that time I have performed in just about every type of venue imaginable. From piano bars to 2,000 seat rooms and festivals.

I am well versed at many forms of popular music including rock, classic rock, alternative, R&B, funk, and fusion. My diverse musical background has enabled me to be very successful in the broadcast medium. I have performed, written and/or produced many television and radio commercials: Jeg's, Columbus Motor Speedway, Bank One, White Castle, and Wendy's International to name just a few.

One of my songs "Just Another Day" was chosen as a winner of the Alesis songwriting contest and included on the internationally-released CD "Twelve Winners."

Hello,
I don't listen to a lot of music since I am working full time. Most of my music time is spent either creating or studying specific skills. Lately I haver been learning all I can about mixing and which plug ins fit my thing etc. I am currently working towards remixing and repackaging my work into three distinct categories, making use of my new PT 10/11 system. I was working on 6.9 so it is quite a leap. To answer your question I love Todd Rundgren's last album -State. I still listen to my favorite 70s fusion, Jeff Beck, Holdsworth, and the rest of usual suspects. In my car player this week is Tom Coster. In regards to Prog I was weaned on Yes and Genisis. I still dip into that well occasionally. Of course I am aware of most of the mainstream artists and check them out occasionally. I checked out John Irvine a bit and really liked what I heard. He uses quite a lot of Holdsworth chord voicings. I have been having the same issue with trying to use certain techniques like Jeff Beck's with out sounding like a clone. Thanks for turning me onto progstreaming.com I will definitely check it out some more.
