Press Info
Rob Anthony's Hard To Believe sounds like what would happen if John Mellencamp channeled the spirit of Neil Diamond. Crazy as it sounds, it works with brilliance. Rootsy pop that works! --Kurt Torster, SFK Magazine "There's a peaceful, easy feeling to Rob Anthony's solo CD, Hard to Believe. So it's not surprising to learn the former Aternative Thrash guitarist credits the Eagles as an inspiration for the 9 song CD he recorded. This first recorded effort of Anthony's strong and pleasantly raspy voice sounds like he was born with a microphone in his hand." -- Jim Lundstrum, Post Crescent Encore "From his first step into success playing with Triple X recording artists Acrophet... with his voice of gold, he's a man with a plan, have six string, will travel. Catch him while you can for a truly enjoyable evening." --Open Road

Bio
Anthony first made a whirl-wind rise to national prominence with Acrophet, an Alternative Thrash Band on Hollywood's Triple X Records label. Now, with a voice compared to the likes of Neil Diamond and John Mellencamp and a superb six-string proficiency to back it up, the former thrasher continues his musical journey and is bringing an entourage of new fans along for the ride. With roots of hard rock, pop rock, alternative, country and classic rock, some may say it's "Hard to Believe" the lead guitarist for an Alternative Thrash band can return to his roots and belt out passionate, soulful acoustic rock. But he can and does, which makes the musical journey described in his award-winning single to "travel the world making his dreams come true" all the more remarkable, indeed.
