My name is "Ric Silllitoe," a singer songwriter from Wigan , Lancashire. I play simple, honest and heartfelt acoustic folk music. Currently I'm recording a new EP entitled " Smoke Signals" at Standard5 Recordings with Neil Farrington. A collection of old and new original material and a few choice covers, which I will be playing in the next few months at upcoming open mic nights, gigs and music festivals. ( dates TBA )

I have always preferred the simplicity and feel of acoustic based music and have always been drawn to it. The larger gigs are great , but i always feel at home in an acoustic setting. Having played live in many places and in in several countries i remain a loyal acoustic musician.

The upcoming EP "Smoke Signals" is a reflection of what life can throw at you , and more importantly ,of how you bounce back.
