Rich Baumann spent the last thirty years doing thousands of uplifting programs in schools, libraries, and senior facilities. He has a special intimate understanding of people with Alzheimer's, after programs in over two thousand nursing homes and memory care centers.
Rich has been guest speaker, and musician in dozens of churches.
Rich Baumann founded The Million Closets Project in January of 2007. We have now taken $29,000 worth
of donated musical instruments and distributed them on the Gulf Coast to deserving individuals and schools.

Rich started taking music lessons fifty years ago at age four. Before he was six years old he was performing in church. He started violin lessens in the fourth grade. Rich Baumann has been a professional performing artist for thirty years. He was the fiddle player in several bands early in his career. In 1983 Rich decided to be a soloist and started playing the guitar and singing in senior facilities. After more than eight thousand Programs in more than fifteen hundred senior facilities and nine hundred preschools and elementary schools and libraries. “I still haven’t called them all.”
