RHSC formed in early fall of 1999 as "Redheaded Stepchild". After a fallout and resignation of the former drummer, their name was changed to only the initials "rhsc" as it stands today. With guitarist Josh VanAusdale, bassist Jared VanAusdale and lead singer Justin VanAusdale all present in the band structure, the only member left to find was their future drummer. After talking with friends and asking around, RHSC members heard of a talented drummer from Cleveland, OH by the name of Joe Davis. A few practice sessions later and their problem had been solved. The perfect fit had been found and the sky was the limit.

Armed with songs of guilt, pain, and anguish, RHSC took on venues one by one in Northwest Ohio and quickly gained a solid following. After only a few months, RHSC went into Mannequin Odd Studios in Aurora, OH to record their current album "My Life Vs. Yours". RHSC is currently on a small tour in Ohio and Michigan to support the LP.
