Nichole Theoret was born in the city of Hamilton, Ontario on July 12, 1984.
Nichole adopted the stage name Nikki T and has been on the music scene since she was just 14 years old. Nikki T has been writing original rap, hip hop and R&B. She expresses herself as a no-holds barred, always on the edge rapper saying, "Music is something that just comes to me".
Nikki T has worked and collaborated with artists such as Juno Award winner Blessed B, Snow, Choclair, British producer Tee Morris (from the 80's hit group Kandidate), MC Gemini, Chef Byer of OVO Records, and Djazel.
In the beginning of the year 2000, Nikki T signed with Tree House Records Inc. Tree House produced a studio demo that was finished and radio-released in 2002. Local radio station CFMU in Hamilton, Ontario gave Nikki T airplay for her debut release CD. Overwhelming numbers responded with great enthusiasm.

In 2008, Nikki T's hit song "What's Up" received a nomination from the Hamilton Music Awards for best Rap/Hip-Hop recording of the year, and won. In 2014, Nikki T signed with Clarke Records.
