BIO OF QUEEN SANDY

Biography Hello, my name is Sandra Bailey! I sometimes go by the assumed name of Queen Sandy. I was born on September 16, 1982 in New Orleans, La. I consider myself to be a very passionate Songwriter, Artist, entrepeneur and family woman. I have 2 very intelligent kids named Randy and Ranyia, ages 5 and 1. I have been committed to their father Big Smurf since day one almost a decade ago. Who I like to say inspired me to pursue my gifted talent as a writer. When it comes to music, I like to explore all avenues. I consider myself to be very versatile. I love to multi-task and conquer hands on, even when difficult. Some people believe it is not good to be versatile when it comes to music, but I disagree truly. I feel there is all types of music. When you love it, whose to say you cannot love all genres? That's what I thought, my point exactly. During my spare time I love to Hip Hop flow in my at home luxury studio (The Booth), engineered by yours truly Big Smurf. Most of all I love to write country, R & B, Rap, and Gospel music. Don't get it twisted I may write music meant to be sung, but I cannot sing. I feel I am a damn good lyricist when it comes to hip hop with my eyes closed. But writing music gives me a high. I have written roughly over 50 songs in 1 year, that has not been demoed yet. I can honestly say that I took crucial steps to copyright all materials, and registered with a performing rights organization (Ascap). One of the songs I did get demoed through Paramount Song located in the heart of Nashville, TN. I provided the lyrics, and they provided the melody. Also, I own 100% of all of my music. It can be very hard sometimes when you are playing the role as your own publisher, promoter, manager secretary, writer, mom, and etc. all by yourself. I have faced so many obstacles in my life, that I know I will succeed as a successful songwriter! Having faith is something I am no stranger too. God shows me a sign, I read it, and follow his lead. Nothing in life suppose to just come to you, you have to work. I also, consider myself very goal oriented. In which I strive to accomplish them by any means necessary. I am from the streets, the rugged city streets of New Orleans! It was hard for me coming up, and that is real talk. I have fell and bumped my head repeatedly , like it wasn't nothing. I am not perfect, but the life I lived is relatable to others through my music. Life was meant to be different for us all. I cannot imagine a world where we are exactly alike. That would mean that we cannot learn from one another, too learn from ones mistakes. If Eve wouldn't of intrigued Adam to bite the apple, how would you perceive the world to be? That is a question we all should ask ourselves. Right now I have a journey to fulfill. My journey is to reach others with my music. I have not done that just yet, but it will take one listener at a time. Soon, I will reach the entire universe, and maybe even Mars! As long as I have breath in my body I know I have a purpose. Just knowing that I ask my God to give me strength, and continue to guide me. I do not pray for money. I pray for my family to have comfort, stability, breath in my body to provide what is needed, others, strength, and to continue my mission.
