Prior Life is a young alternative rock band based in Gainesville, Florida. They released their debut CD “Halo” in December 1999 and their second CD “Return to Sanity” in February of 2002. The band has started to make their mark by opening for National bands Less Than Jake, No Doubt and 3 Doors Down. This alternative rock band is an up and coming group of local teens that is bound to rock you!

Prior Life is a young alternative rock band based in Gainesville, Florida. The band is comprised of Sean Snowden (singer/song-writer and guitarist), Rhett Dougherty (bass guitar), Ryan Weidenfeld (drums) and Ramon Molledo (guitar). They released their debut CD, Halo, in December 1999. February of 2002 marked the release of the bands second CD, Return to Sanity, which was recorded and produced by Karma Productions, Sean Snowdens own production company. The disc has been very well received and has been getting local radio airplay.
Since winning the Stars of the Future competition in January 2001, Prior Life has started to make their mark on the local music scene in South Florida. Their performance at SunFest 2001 received critical acclaim from the Palm Beach Post. Says Post music writer Charles Passy, This [band] plays rock with a combination of attitude and despair. Their songs, written by lead guitarist Sean Snowden, have a touch of Nirvana and Pearl Jam to them, but with a more pop-minded sensibility. When you’re confronted with this much raw talent, its hard not to get excited.
In April of 2002, Prior Life performed with the National band Less Than Jake at the University of Central Floridas SpringFest in Orlando. SunFest 2002 brought the band back as one of the opening acts for No Doubt, a major milestone for the band.
