Pleasurebox formed in 1998 as a combination of rhythmic structure and melodic space. Meeting as engineers at a recording studio in the center of a thriving Florida rave scene, Eric Wood and Peter Orlowski discovered their styles and skills to be complimentary and symbiotic in the development of electronic music. Forming as a studio project then growing to develop a live set Pleasurebox were able to construct their unique sound, drawing from such influences as Depeche Mode, Underworld, Orbital, BT and the many sounds of underground clubs and parties. Pleasurebox has been able to create a diverse range of songs intended to tell a story and keep bodies moving.
