With over 100 original songs, a compelling live performance, and an ever-increasing number of dedicated fans and supporters, Paul Atkinson is making an indelible mark on the musical world. With years of local and regional touring plus four well-received independent albums under his belt, Paul Atkinson - backed by his powerful and talented band - continues to build a buzz as one of the best original acts around. His past two independently released EP's, "Music for the Journey (2007)," produced by the esteemed Scott Sawyer of Raleigh, and "The Attic Sessions (2008)," produced by Paul Atkinson and Dan and Mike Rosado of Raleigh, NC, have been met with rave reviews.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Atkinson has been playing guitar for nearly two decades, and writing inspiring and catchy songs for the latter half of that time. Having honed and refined his skills as a musician and as a songwriter, he has emerged as a crucial component of the music scene in North Carolina and beyond.

Influenced by a unique blend of classic and contemporary songwriters, Atkinson credits his inspiration primarily to Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, David Gray, Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews, and Ryan Adams.
