I started writing as a kid and was even fortunate enough to get signed to a major label. I was the primary songwriter but my band had issues and broke up after only one album, a few tours and a second album in the can. I joined another band but songwriting got sidetracked 'cause I was performing 52 weeks a year and got caught up "in the life" playing around with thousands of beautiful women and having a great time on the road. Recently a major health issue forced me to realize I wasn't going to live forever and that I'd better get some things done sooner than later. I'm still playing full-time but now I make time for my true love; writing and performing my own songs. I'll have all kinds of new material soon. Good luck to all of you that really do love what you do. Songwriting is sharing and if only one other person in this world besides yourself really likes your songs then you are successful. Don't forget to thank that person. Peace and love to you all.
