Being a classically trained pianist is the foundation for the musical paintings that
Normita, known locally as "Ladyfingers", creates. Regardless of the type of composition, she primes first from her classical roots, then paints a colourful array of
musical mood swings that swirl from fusion, to jazzy, to R&B, and splashes with a little funk.
She leads her 5 piece band, Ladyfingers, on keys, but has a "whole lotta " help from her bassist, guitarist, and longtime right arm friend on vocals.
The CD "Eargasm" is a trip into the various shadings of her talent. She has composed an array of musical paintings, some which will be on the next CD venture.
Ladyfingers, the band, is a well known Tampa Bay area Jazz group, and participates locally in some of the jazz radio station's events.
