Humorous Bio
YESTERDAY
Vittorio Cosimo, a forensic scientist from the University of Venice, had a dream: to create a human being with a unique genetic make-up. Using DNA from Bob Dylan, Paul Hewson (Bono), James Brown and the Dalai Lama, Vittorio's wish was to create a uniquely talented musician, writer and speaker. 28 years ago, on the 3rd day of June, 1981, Vittorio's dream came true when he created Nathan Michael Marcuzzi.
Shortly after his creation, Vittorio secretly flew Marcuzzi to the small town of Binbrook, Ontario where he was given to a loving Mother & Father. As he began to grow into a child, Vittorio kept a close eye on the young Vega. At first, he showed no signs of his DNA make-up: he couldn't dance like James. He sang well, unlike Bob. He didn't like wearing large sunglasses like Bono nor did he express interest in a small wardrobe consisting only of one red robe like that of the Dalai Lama.
In a desperate attempt to save his life-long experiment, Vittorio pleaded with the Mother & Father of Marcuzzi if they would be willing to move to Vancouver, British Columbia. It was thought that the pain caused by moving Marcuzzi away from his close friends and family would help stir up his great potential. The family agreed, and the move proved to be a success.
At the age of 14, only months after the move, Marcuzzi turned to music and began to show signs of his unique abilities. With his first guitar, a beat-up classical, he took on the role of singer/songwriter. Immediately he began composing original material translating his raw emotion into music.
TODAY
Marcuzzi has never attended Harvard, Berkeley or Cambridge Universities nor did he ever take private lessons from Paul Reed Smith or Sinatra. Musical growths have stemmed mainly by his own accord thanks to his genetic make-up. His music, a signature fusion of alternative Pop-rock, Folk-rock & Blues-pop is an imaginative blend of unconventional sounds.
Besides his dedication to music, Marcuzzi is committed to the Human Race by supporting the people and organizations that aid in uniting us into a more balanced, peaceful society. (This is due to the DNA strains specifically of Bono and the Dalai Lama.)
Currently Marcuzzi is touring locally and has begun working on new material for his 3rd album.
