After forming two rock bands (one which won MTV's local best local band of the year), Née Née set out to record a solo album.
" I wanted to record an album that encompassed everything I loved: the live, solid presence of real instruments crafted with the textures of electronic drums, sounds, and samples. I wanted to create a connective line through the whole album with each song having a distinct personality. I describe the music differently every time I try: Stevie Wonder meets Beth Orton for coffee.
