Bio

Mr. Blueface was started by Jonathan Yeates as a studio project in early 2000. After recording an album with help from various superstars of the Dublin music scene, Mr Yeates decided to put together a band to see what his songs sounded like live. So with Dave Gormley on drums and Kevin Pluck on guitar the band rehearsed solidly for ten months before hitting the road and playing gigs with bands as diverse as King Sativa, LiR, Earthquake Hair, Papkika Korps, Scientific Bong and others. Be they punk rock gigs, reggae gigs or any other gigs you may care to mention, Mr. Blueface went down well with all audiences. With a new rocking band they decided to re-record a few songs, write some new ones, and add them to the album. The result is “All That’s Left Is Fun”, a ten-track album encompassing Industrial, Punk Rock, Dance, Electronic music and many points in between.

At the moment the band are busy writing and recording new songs and trying to branch out into Europe and some parts of the US to play as many places as possible in the limited time we have left on this planet. A second album should be ready for release towards the end of 2004.
