Based in the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands, Dutch artist Maurice ‘Moos’ Dohmen combines beats and basslines with voice samples and colourful sounds.
Moos made a first demo in 2001 containing six tracks. A Blue Demo was released in 2002, featuring a more transparent and richer sound. One of the tracks, Nu Jump, was featured on Dutch radio station VPRO on November 16, 2002.
In 2003, Moos performed live in the semi-finals of the Grote Prijs van Nederland (Nijmegen). Special guest was VJ Jorrit Poelen, doing live visuals.
Recently, he released the Rode Demo - four new tracks. The electro track KameeleMoos was played on VPRO radio on June 26, 2004. The techno track Golven was played on VPRO radio on July 24, 2004.
