Welcome to my homepage. My name is l q m (leedsquietman) and I am an alias for songwriter/musician/producer/arranger m j brown.

I play keyboards, guitar, bass and do rhythm programming/MIDI drumming. I have been producing my own 4 track demos since 1991 and after a hiatus of several years in the late 90's-early millenium, have now entered the realm of digital recording. See my bio for more details...

I enjoy collaborations and 2 songs I have posted here have had lyrics written and been vocalized by the very talented jazz/soul/r 'n' b singer Bass Over Forty (thanks Perkie).

My range of influences are wide, I like rock, electronica, soul, pop, alternative and pretty much everything in between.

Since 2004 I have been writing, performing and producing demo recordings of my own work and collaborating via internet with some amazing talent. My main tools include Cubase SX3, Reason 2.5 and Soundforge 8 plus the usual instruments etc.
