Mike's passion in life has always revolved around music, starting at a young age with piano, performing in private events, and then expanding his interest in drums.
Songwriting began in 2004, along with guitarist/vocalist Josh Gates. They formed the group "Between the Lines" and performed acoustically at local venues throughout San Diego.
In 2010, they formed the rock band "Relevance" along with additional members, playing throughout Southern California until 2013. Since 2013, the band took a back seat, while Mike continued with his enthusiasm in writing more songs for the purpose of sharing to all those who found appreciation in his music.
To entertain is his ambition, and he has been involved with several events including: weddings, private parties, talent shows, and side projects with other musicians and bands.
