Melissa Dawn first rose to Florida prominence when an 18-year passion for dance led to a coveted position as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader. She performed at hundreds of local, charitable and national events with the NFL. Friend and Bee Gee, Maurice Gibb, encouraged her pursuit of a music career. Performing since age 4, Melissa was vocalist for jazz/blues band Crimson Groove. After college, she became lead vocalist for American Pie, all-girl pop/rock group, performing at Florida’s larger club & concert venues. Her powerful voice & dynamic stage presence charm audiences and critics alike. Through her training & experience, Melissa developed a musical style that can uniquely be called her own.
